Warnings: Many of the countries advising their citizens against any travel to North Korea due to the bizarre security situation in the country. Due to recent missile tests and nuclear weapon development program of the country the present situation is highly unstable in the region.

The acting regime is highly unpredictable and repressive. There are no resident American or Canadian diplomatic offices in the DPRK.

It is highly recommended to avoid North Korea for tourism purpose.

North Korea (officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea or DPRK) is a East Asian country. The country occupies the northern half of the Korean Peninsula that lies between the East Sea (Sea of Japan) and Korea Bay. China located in the north of the country while Russia and South Korea shares the north east and the south border of the country.

Pyongyang is the capital city of the country. The city has about 2.75 million citizen.
