New Delhi is capital of India.

The India Gate is the national monument of India. It is situated in the heart of New Delhi. The gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

Jama Masjid is the largest and best-known mosque in India. It combines the best of Hindu and Muslim styles of architecture.

Jantar Mantar[edit]

Jantar Mantar is known as world's oldest astronomical observatory. It is made by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur (1699-1743).

Humayun Tomb[edit]

Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. The tomb was built by Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1556.
